On flickr the photographer has some options on how their images can be used.

Flickr
I have been using Flickr for a while now. i have referred people to it as well. i think it's a great place for people to share their creativity as they have a free section on flickr. if you want more space you can pay for it. But in the free section you can have 200 images up so that's what i do.
